Quick answers
Can I make a boomerang GIF?
Yes. Turn on Boomerang: the frames play forward and then backward, which loops smoothly.
GIF or MP4?
GIF plays everywhere without a play button but is limited to 256 colors per frame and gets big. MP4 is much smaller, keeps full colors and can have music.
